Once the decision is made to protect your pictures with watermarks, you will need to choose a specific watermark. A good rule of thumb, when creating a watermark, is to be consistent and always use the same type of watermark.  Another consideration is the type of watermark you prefer.  Do you want a text-based watermark or an image-based watermark?  Both options are available in WinWatermark.                      

Image-based Watermarks

Text-based Watermarks

A text-based watermark is simply words to watermark your images, but with those words you should identify yourself or something about the image.  Sometimes the text-based watermark can automatically be created from the image’s file name.
