Importing Images
Once WinWatermark Professional has been opened, and all informational screens have been closed, the next step is to Import Images into the WinWatermark Pro interface. There are several ways in which to import images into WinWatermark. Use the method that best suits your needs.

Mac Users: CTRL + Click = Right click
Images can be dragged and dropped into the WinWatermark Pro interface.
Import Button Click the IMPORT button in the lower left hand corner of the WinWatermark Pro interface to browse for images on the hard drive.
Device Button Click the DEVICE button to import images directly from a USB device or a camera’s memory card.
Drag & Drop Import Method
Open the folder containing images to be watermarked and/or modified.
To select multiple images, while holding down the CTRL key, left click the images to be imported.
As images are selected, the image becomes highlighted to distinguish them from those not being imported.
When all images are selected (clicked), simply drag the highlighted images to the Drag + Drop location in WinWatermark Pro. (red circle)
NOTE: Click and hold down on the left mouse button to drag images into WinWatermark Pro.
Depending on the number of images being imported, WinWatemark Pro will display a progress bar as shown.
Once images are imported, the interface will appear as shown.
The images are automatically placed into an Untitled Library, which displays the number of photos imported.
On the right hand side of the WinWatermark Pro interface, each image appears surrounded by an orange border. This indicates the images are selected.
File Menu Import Method
Importing images can also be accomplished by clicking the File menu at the top of the screen. There are several options for importing images as shown below. From the File Menu, select one of the import options available.
File | Import This is the same action as clicking the IMPORT button in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
File | Import from Device This is the equivalent action of clicking the DEVICE button, also located in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
File | Import Facebook Album This handy new feature of WinWatermark Pro lets you make a direct connection to Facebook, so that images stored there can be digitally copyrighted.

Importing images from the File menu is also an option in WinWatermark Pro.
NOTE: The keyboard shortcut for importing images is: CTRL + Shift + I
Split Screen
The resulting Import window displays the hard drive contents on the left hand side. (red circle)
Browse to the folder containing the images to be imported.
To expand a folder, click the triangle preceding each folder name or double-click the folder.
Highlight Folder Containing Images
When a folder is highlighted (PHOTOS) from the left hand side of the screen, images within that folder are displayed in the middle of the screen.
Selecting Images
Selecting images can be accomplished two ways.
All images can be selected by clicking the SELECT ALL Button.
Once clicked, this button displays selected pictures by placing an orange border around each image. This indicates a selected image.
To start the selection process over, simply click the CLEAR ALL button.
Images can be selected individually by clicking each image to be imported.
Images without an orange border will not be imported.
NOTE: From this window, the CTRL key does not need to be depressed to select multiple images.
Once images have been selected for import, two additional options are available in the upper right hand corner of the pop-up window. Imported images will be placed into a Library, which can be renamed to suit your needs.
Library Name: By default, the Library Name used will be the same as the folder name on the left hand side. To change the Library Name, simply delete the name displayed and type in the new Library Name.
The last option deals with deciding what to do with the source images.
Leave source images – this will leave the original images alone and will not overwrite them or delete them. Delete source images – this will delete an images imported into WinWatermark Pro.
NOTE: As a best practice, WinWatermark recommends leaving original images alone as a precautionary measure. This is the default option.
When all images have been selected, the Library has been named, and the decision has been made regarding the source image files, click the IMPORT button in the lower right hand corner.
Imported Images
Once images have been imported, the WinWatermark interface will appear as shown.
File | Import Facebook Album
A new feature in WinWatermark Professional is the ability to import an album from Facebook.
From the File menu, select Import Facebook Album to begin the process.
Facebook Import Before Facebook albums can be imported into WinWatermark, credentials must be entered in order to connect to Facebook.
Click the AUTHORIZE button to begin connecting to Facebook.
Login In | Facebook
At the Facebook Login screen, enter the email address and password associated with your Facebook account.
Once connected to Facebook, click the drop down arrow next to Album. This will display all current Facebook albums that are available for importing.
Highlight the desired Facebook Album, from the drop down list, and click the IMPORT button in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
This will import the Facebook Album called VERTIGO into WinWatermark Professional.
Be patient while images from the Facebook Album are being imported. When the progress bar reaches 100%, images can be manipulated within WinWatermark Pro.
Word of Caution!
Images imported from a Facebook Album appear in WinWatermark just like any other imported images.
The Library Name matches the Facebook Album Name and the imported images are selected (orange border).
However, once a Facebook Album has been successfully imported into WinWatermark, be sure to LOG OUT of Facebook!!!
REMINDER: Logout of Facebook!
File | Import Facebook Album
From the Facebook Import screen, notice the AUTHORIZE button is grayed out.
This means there is a valid connection made between WinWatermark and Facebook!
To disconnect from Facebook, click the REMOVE AUTHORIZATION button.
When the Facebook Import screen displays AUTHORIZE in dark letters, you have successfully logged out of Facebook.
Split Screen
The resulting Import window displays the hard drive contents on the left hand side.
Browse to the folder containing the images to be imported.
To expand a folder, click the triangle preceding each folder name.
